We are David and Amy Gray, old(er) newlyweds from the Central Coast of California’s city of Lompoc. United in marriage on April 21, 2009 we determined to undertake a “Grand Adventure” in a brand new Heartland fifth wheel toy hauler. After months of preparation, repairs, false starts and general hurry up and wait, we are finally on the road!
David has always had a dream to travel the United States so after his first wife passed away much too early with a rare form of breast cancer, he decided there was no time like the present to begin his dream. I have always wanted to travel the world so when I met David, I eagerly listened to his plans and when he asked if I would like to join him as his wife, I jumped at the chance.
This, then, begins the saga of our journey. We do not know where this odyssey will take us nor what adventures we may have, but we expect to have stories to tell and lessons to learn. Please come along and enjoy with us as we discover this great land of ours.
