We stayed here at Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB) FamCamp for a little over 3 weeks. It took us that long to finish getting out of our home in Lompoc. Note: David is posting past and current trip locations so as to get caught up on our travels thus far. Each new location in the trip will be labeled as Map 1, Map 2 and [...] We are finally on the road! We left VAFB and headed up the coast. As it happens, I had to use the restroom soon after drinking my usual glass of water. Therefore, finding an accessible place which had a restroom to park the “semi-trailer” became an ordeal. Sheesh. The things you don’t think of… Anyway, [...] Packing: Leaving on an extended trip is much the same as moving… Everything has to be packed, either to go on the trip or to put away in storage. [...] |
